PineyWoods Pediatrics has partnered with United Allergy Services to bring allergy relief to our patients. Your child can now be tested for a variety of environmental and food allergies right here in our office. These tests are conducted through a safe and needle-free skin-prick method.

If environmental allergies are identified in your child and treatment is necessary, shots or oral drops may be prescribed, both of which are offered at PineyWoods Pediatrics. If you decide to move forward with shots, a personalized treatment plan will be determined. These shots can either be self-administered at home following proper training or done by a medical professional in our office. If food allergies are identified, we will recommend avoidance of that food for symptom improvements as immunotherapy is not currently recommended for food allergies.
